Glamour magazine has taken its “Engagement Chicken” to the next level with a new cookbook, 100 Recipes Every Woman Should Know. The lore of the Engagement Chicken recipe is that if you make it for your boyfriend, he will propose to you soon after. Glamour says the chicken was the catalyst for at least 70 engagements. Recipes in the book (in addition to the chicken) include “Let’s Make a Baby Pasta” and “Breakfast in Bed Mimosa.” Aside from the adorably cheeky names, the best thing about these recipes is that they’re insanely easy. Perfect for those of us who are more of a “whore in the bedroom” than a “cook in the kitchen.”
