Ouch! Gossip mags are reporting that Emily Maynard dumped fiancé Brad Womack over the phone two weekends ago, less than a month after their engagement on The Bachelor was televised.
The main reason? Emily was worried Brad was cheating on her. HollywoodLife.com and Life & Style are both reporting the split:
Emily called it off because she was getting worried that Brad was seeing someone else in Austin.
“Brad seemed very complacent all of a sudden,” says another insider. “He did everything he could to woo and charm Emily on the show, and then it just slowed. Emily knows he likes Texas, he likes his bars and booze, so she’s just wondering if he likes someone else. It started to really worry Emily. She felt like, ‘If he’s not wanting to see her, who is he with?’”
Further, Emily no longer plans to move to Austin with her 5-year-old daughter, Ricki, to be with Brad — but she had never made concrete plans to do so. ABC is, of course, encouraging the couple to work things out.
