George Clooney, 50, is back on the market after splitting with his Italian model girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis, 32. And some sources think they know why things ended.
Us Weekly is reporting that constant spats were what busted the couple up:
“She drove him nuts,” [a] source says, explaining there was “non-stop bickering over little things… He would only hang out with his friends, and more or less left her to herself and her friends.”
The pair started dating publicly in September 2009, but it’s unclear when, exactly, the split happened. Says Canalis’s publicist:
“It is a very personal and sad matter, and Elisabetta wants it to remain that way. She will be taking some time … and then will face the press. She has not authorized me to say when the split happened.”
