If you’re as obsessed with The Bachelorette as we are, you’re staking out some couch space and a popcorn bowl for tonight’s episode, in which slimy suitor Bentley Williams, 28, returns to the show in order for Bachelorette Ashley Hebert, 26, to gain “closure.”
Notorious Bentley was a total jerk to Ashley and the other guys (and the producers, and humankind…) in previous episodes of the show, saying things like:
“These tools, like these freaking idiots — all the guys know that I’m the frontrunner because they see my connection with Ashley. She’s more into me than anyone else. But none of them have any idea that I don’t care about Ashley”
And…
“I came in thinking that Ashley was not attractive at all. I’m not feeling it . . . I’m gonna make Ashley cry. I hope my hair looks OK.”
When he wasn’t ensuring that his locks resembled perfectly browned meringue curlicues, Bentley was lying to Ashley about leaving the show because he missed his daughter, not because he couldn’t stand the sight of Ashley. (Also: Bentley has a kid? Shudder.) We’ll see what he has to say for himself tonight.
But really, doesn’t every woman have a “Bentley”? A guy who you adored, but just couldn’t get it through your head that he was a jerk/cheater/totally uninterested? Let us know!
