The Transportation Security Administration says that sex toys are perfectly legal to travel with. But if you’ve packed your vibrator in your carry-on luggage, there’s always a chance that a TSA inspector will question you about it. The San Francisco Chronicle recently quoted two experts from sex store chain Good Vibrations about how to deal:
“There’s no reason to be embarrassed,” says [staff sexologist] Carol Queen. “If an inspector asks you about it, look him in the eye and tell him it’s your vibrator.” Not only are they legal; they are incredibly commonplace.
“They sell vibrators at Walgreens,” said Good Vibrations Sex Educator/Sales Associate Mike Korcek. “You can’t get more mainstream than that. Remember, vibrators have been around longer than airplanes.”
Now that would be a fascinating history lesson.
