A Spanish collector who insists he has a 1940s porn flick of a young Marilyn Monroe has put the tape up for auction. Problem is, Monroe experts say the blonde in the film isn’t her. So far, the film has received exactly zero bids.
The collector was hoping to receive $500,000 for the six-minute black-and-white skin flick, but experts say the woman not only doesn’t have the signature Monroe slim figure (despite her hourglass figure, she was a very tiny woman), but the teeth and the hair are all wrong, the New York Daily News reported:
Scott Fortner, a blogger and Monroe expert who has collected several items that once belonged to her, agrees.
“For me the main aspect is the widow’s peak,” he said, ABC News reported. “The woman in the film has a straight hair line; Marilyn has always had her widow’s peak.”
We have to say that after reading this, our curiosity was piqued about what a 1946/’47 porn film looks like. You can see snippets of it in a Reuters news video here (it’s basically SFW, with the exception of the actress’s bare backside), but the film is also highly Google-able if you’re so inclined.
