You can run, but you can’t hide from technology. A man in a MacRumors forum claims he used his new iPhone 4S to catch his cheating wife in the act. How? With the Find My Friends app.
Thomas Metz (or so he calls himself) was suspicious that his wife was stepping out on him with a man on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, so he secretly uploaded the app to her phone. Later that night the location-finder said she was indeed on the Upper East Side when she claimed to be downtown.
Metz says he has the screenshots to prove it:
Says Metz: “Thank you Apple, thank you App Store, thank you all. These beautiful treasure trove of screen shots going to play well when I meet her a$$ at the lawyer’s office in a few weeks. thankfully, she’s the rich one.”
Okay! Let that be a cautionary tale for those of you with tech-head partners, even if you’re not cheating.
