Pack This for Your Valentine’s Day Hotel Room Romance

Vacations are notorious for encouraging hot sex, but if you can’t get out of town this Valentine’s Day, you might want to consider booking a hotel room ripe for the sullying. What to pack? Hotels.com recently conducted a poll that uncovered what couples love to include in a romantic rendezvous:

1. Dark Chocolate and Strawberries

Chocolate — it’s the way to a woman’s heart! Thirty-six percent of the poll’s female respondents said that dark chocolate puts them in the mood for romance, and for men, strawberries helped ease them into an amorous state of mind, with 30 percent citing the fruit as their favorite aphrodisiac. Come prepared by toting along a dozen white- and dark-chocolate-covered strawberries from Harry & David, or make your own for cheap.

2. Lingerie

Sixty-four percent of women said lacy underthings were a must-pack (same with 50 percent of men). Blow his mind with a little something unexpected — like a number from Victoria’s Secret’s racy new line, or an affordable, wispy, runway-inspired getup.

3. A Camera

What you do with said camera is your own business (30 percent of women and 36 percent of men said they bring one on a romantic vacay!), but taking a few racy pics of yourself for your man can steam up his imagination before your trip. Check out our tips for sexting him a photo — nude or not!

4. Appreciation for Your Partner

Aw! Material items aside, most respondents said their ideal V-Day present is “just spending time together.” Now that’s a gift that everyone likes!
