If you had to pick one, which is ultimately more important? Sex or internet access? A recent international survey by the Boston Consulting Group asked people which lifestyle habit they’d be willing to give up for one year in order to retain their access to the internet. Yes, some people chose sex. But how many?
Poll respondents were given a range of options including to “trade” for a year in exchange for web access, including fast food, your car, sex, alcohol, chocolate, fast food, exercise, coffee, or showers. Twenty-one percent of Americans were willing to give up sex in favor of their Facebook time, but 56 percent of Japan residents would abstain from nookie in order to surf.
Which foreigners were least likely to embrace chastity? Brazilians, with only 12 percent being okay with no sex to get the ‘net.
But enough about them: How about you?
