5 Paraben- and Glycerin-Free Lubricants

We talk a lot here at Sexcerpts about the benefits of using a glycerin-free lubricant if you’re prone to yeast infections. The basics are these: If you know that you tend to get yeast infections after using lube (or if you currently have a yeast infection), it’s better to be avoid glycerin, a sugar-alcohol humectant that feeds on yeast. Here are five lubes free of both glycerin and parabens (controversial preservatives that can cause skin irritation if you’re allergic to them) that you can find online and in drugstores:

1. Blossom Organics Natural Moisturizing Lubricant

Our favorite of the bunch, this simple lubricant comes in a squeezable, easy-to-open-and-close tube and stays slippery for a long time. [$11 for 4 oz; walgreens.com, drugstores]
