Thank you, Lord, for bestowing Burning Love upon us. We’re rubbing our eyes to make sure we’re not dreaming: Big names like Jennifer Aniston, Kristen Bell, Ken Jeong, and Ben Stiller have teamed up to skewer The Bachelor via a multi-episode web series. Six words: Michael Ian Black as Chris Harrison. Genius.
Perfectly cast as bachelor/firefighter “Mark Orlando,” Ken Marino must choose among a bevy of women, including several twentysomething dental hygienists, a homeless woman, a blind woman, an overzealous sports enthusiast, and many, many more. Let’s just put it this way: Aniston wears a panda suit when she steps out of the limo, and it’s honestly not that removed from what’s actually happened on The Bachelor in previous seasons. (Phantom of the Opera mask guy, anyone?)
