Is it just us, or are marriage proposals these days so exhaustively produced that they’ll soon be on the level of summer blockbusters? The newest evidence: Craig Jones, 26, asked his girlfriend Allison Leclaire, 29, to marry him using a flash mob…and a marching band…and Allison’s loved ones…and a blast of confetti for the finale. Whew!
The setting: New York City’s Bryant Park. The cost: A cool $9,000. ABC News reports: “I wanted the proposal to be incredible,” Jones said. “I was shooting for the moon here but I wanted a marching band.”
