Be glad that ’90s heartthrob Ben Affleck, 40, isn’t your ex: He slams his relationship with former flame Jennifer Lopez, 43, in this month’s issue of Details, calling the year 2003 the worst of his life.
Here’s what he reveals, reports the New York Daily News:
Ben Affleck says the year he romanced Jennifer Lopez and made the bomb “Gigli” was the low point of his life.
“[It] was definitely the annus horribilis,” the actor-director told the October issue of Details magazine.
“I got shorthanded as That Guy — Jennifer Lopez, movies bombed, therefore he must be a sort of thoughtless dilettante, solipsistic consumer, blah blah blah.”
Keeping it classy, eh, Ben?
Lopez, however, has the last laugh: In May 2012, Forbes placed her at No. 1 on its Celebrity 100 list. She earned $52 million in the 12 preceding months.
