If you’re Girls creator Lena Dunham, you make a cheeky pro-Barack Obama ad called “Your First Time” that draws similarities between voting for the first time and losing one’s virginity. Watch below:
The ad (predictably) has conservatives’ blood boiling (they think it’s tasteless), but it’s obvious to us that Dunham is trying to reach younger voters, and innuendo will help do exactly that.
We love the ad. Because we believe that women should be able to make their own reproductive choices, and we believe that everyone should be able to marry who they love.
