Esteemed sexpert Dr. Ruth Westheimer is no stranger to doling out sex advice during inclement weather. In 2011, during Hurricane Irene, she advised her Twitter followers not to go out during the hurricane to have sex. “Tell u’re friends u did it, but don’t do it,” she said. This year, however, Dr. Ruth bested last year’s tweet with a litany of sex advice for those hunkering down during Hurricane Sandy.
She started out with some relatively staid admonishments:
“@AskDrRuth I want you to have sex during #Sandy but safe sex, safe from disease, pregnancy & hurricane!”
