Watch out for vibrating packages under the tree. A survey from Durex found that 70 percent of men are planning on buying their partner a gift to turn them on this holiday season (compared with 60 percent of women). In that case, fingers crossed for a sumptuous getup from Agent Provocateur.
Other stats:
• 80% of the men surveyed and almost 60% of women surveyed are turned on immediately when receiving a gift meant to spice things up in the bedroom.
“Immediately”? Whoa, boys, give us some time with that equipment before we’re ready to hop in the saddle.
• 72% of people have made love in front of a fireplace.
• 18% of people have made love in the midst of snow.
• 9% of people have made love during a holiday office party.
Holiday office party: eh. YOLO and all that, but we have to discourage that kind of thing for a variety of reasons. Namely, trading your professional reputation for an O is not the best deal.
And just think of the embarrassing slapstick aftermath: Paper clips might fall out of your trousers, people will wonder why the supply closet door is banging off the hinges, etc. Plus, being the subject of office gossip is pretty much The Worst. However, there’s no harm in giving your phone number to that hottie from accounting and making a graceful exit before you’re too deep into the sauce.
