We normally don’t get this excited about celebrity baby news, but since Magic Mike stud and current Sexiest Man Alive Channing Tatum and his wife, actress Jenna Dewan, are our favorite celebrity couple right now, we couldn’t help but celebrate the imminent arrival of their first child.
Here’s the scoop, according to E! News:
“We are absolutely over the moon,” the family told us in an exclusive statement. “As you can imagine, we couldn’t feel more blessed!”
Those Channing fans who’ve been following his Sexiest Man Alive interviews shouldn’t be too surprised. He’s often spoken of his desire for a family, especially of late, as in this quote to People:
“I’m ready; I think she’s ready,” Tatum told People recently. “The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and then we’ll see where we go after that.”
Left up to Tatum, the couple — who wed in Malibu in 2009 — would be going the distance … all the way into the double digits. “It’s really easy for us guys to say, ‘I want like 15 kids,’” he noted. “Jenna will be like, ‘Well you better get another wife!’”
We’re thrilled for this young couple and can’t wait to see exactly how attractive this superbaby of two hotties will be. Congratulations, Channing and Jenna!

US Weekly reported that around this time Tatum began working as a stripper at a local nightclub, under the name “Chan Crawford.” In 2010, he told an Australian newspaper that he would like to make a movie about his experiences as a stripper.-
