Juice Up Your Sex Life with These Recipes

With the exception of New Year’s Eve, the holidays are nearly over, and that means getting back on track with our health. (Booo: no more bottomless glasses of champagne. Yay: feeling way, way better.) To kick off 2013, consider making a juice that will not only re-energize you after libido-killing holiday stress, but help you have more satisfying sex.

“Succulent fruits and vegetables have long been known to provide bursts of energy, health, and vitality to our body parts,” says FitLife.TV founder Drew Canole, author of Juicing Recipes for Vitality and Health. “From our eyes to our bones, from the heart to our hair, and yes, even there.”

Follow two of Canole’s recipes below — one designed for women and one for men — a couple of hours before sexytime. For fun, read the info next to each ingredient (or check out the infographic below) to learn how it helps your sexiest parts function at their peak performance.

WOMEN 

4 carrots – only half peeled (High in vitamin A, which stimulates the epithelial tissue throughout the body.)

2 celery stalks (Contains androsterone, a hormone that stimulates the sex drive.)

1/2 cucumber (Hydration benefits stamina and endurance
3 kale leaves – high in zinc which increases libido.)

Ginger (Only one knuckle a couple times a week reaps huge benefits for reducing free radicals in the blood, decreasing inflammation, relaxing arteries and improving blood flow.)

JUST FOR MEN

1 cucumber (Hydration benefits stamina and endurance.)

3 stalks of celery (Contains androsterone, a hormone that stimulates the sex drive.)

1 smidgen of garlic (Increases nitric oxide production – just a little bit will do!)

1 lemon (Alkalizes body for higher performance.)

Handful of pitted cherries (High in flavonoids, which cleanse free radicals from arteries, which in turn relaxes them and improves blood flow, which is key to male sexual performance.)

    Thank You as a Diva I’m Open to Improving my Health & Skillz~Committing to Juicing~but currently for the past weeks I have to make daily trips to my local Health Food store in Hyde Park (Chicago) to have the Juice Bar juice for me~ I’ve been praying that God will Supernaturally provide me with a Good Juicer~as a Program Director for Homeless Women & their children fleeing Domestic~my income is at a budget and xtra I use for activities for them~This will be an Awesome Blessing!
