Trying to be someone else usually isn’t a great idea — unless you’re changing things up in the bedroom. This weekend, we suggest getting creative with your sex personality, whether you transform your look or just talk a big, dirty game.
Here are a few suggestions to help you along:
1. Top off your look with a wig.
Remember Julia Roberts’s blond bob before she revealed her gorgeous red mane in Pretty Woman? Or Natalie Portman’s pink shock (and carefully constructed image) in Closer? 2. Say something different.
If you’re usually silent during sex, get verbal with something as simple as “That feels good” or “Don’t stop.” Simple yet effective, especially if he or she is used to hearing nothing at all. And if you’re usually the one giving the orders, let your partner take the lead this time. You might be surprised at what happens next.
3. Choose an outfit — even if it’s something you already have in your closet.
You don’t have to go crazy buying an entire Agent Provocateur getup (unless, of course you want to — in that case, go for it!). To look different on the cheap, try slipping on a pair of your highest heels before nookie or wearing something sweet, like a white nightie, if you usually put on black strappy lingerie. The unexpected visual will keep kick things up a notch, heat-wise.
