The Japanese have always been on the edge of fashion, sometimes even base jumping off it! Well here’s no exception. Introducing: Bikini Jeans! Apparently these jeans are all the rage with teenage girls in Japan.

After hearing customer complaints about their jeans slipping down, Japanese designer Sandra Tanimura created Bikini Jeans. Tanimura states that her customers wanted very low trousers but had difficulty in keeping them up. “I came up with the idea of using bikini strings to let the trousers be really low without falling”, says Tanimura.
