Position of the Week: Downward Dog

Ah, yoga. Nothing like it to bliss you out…but incorporating a little yoga into your sex life can only be good. Yoga, after all, means “union” and is meant to get your blood flowing. Working a little downward dog action into your bedroom can yield deep penetration and a very stimulating angle. (See image for non-XXX downward dog pose). I recommend, when doing it doggie-style that you bow down in a way similar to this pose. Brace yourself with your arms, face close to the mattress. (It’s easiest if you are kneeling on the edge of the mattress while he is behind you or if you are bent over a sofa…something that allows you to bend forward and ‘kiss’ the surface.) Arch your spin and lift your hips, replicating the downward dog posture in your back and hips. Talk about going down and going deep!
